Protect Your Cattle Against Gram Negative Septicemic Diseases caused by E.coli, Salmonella sp & Pasteurella sp With One Vaccine!

The development of a mutant bacterin combined with an immune stimulant has resulted in an effective cross-protective vaccine. This vaccine offers protection against several Gram negative endotoxins, common causes of economic loss to beef and milk producers.

With this unique cross-protective bacterin and immune stimulant broad spectrum protection is achieved more rapidly.

ENDOVAC-Beef® with Immune Plus® offers the Producer an option which can reduce the economic losses associated with Gram negative septicemias and endotoxemias in cattle. Recent feedlot studies resulted in a $3.25 per head savings in medicine cost and significant reduction in pulls/re-pulls for vaccinated cattle vs. non-vaccinated cattle. Recently, significant reductions in incidence, sick days and mortality due to E. coli in dairy cows has been demonstrated.

The ENDOVAC-Beef® Vaccine “Bottom Line”

  • ENDOVAC-Beef® with the ImmunePlus® immuno-stimulant, provides cross-protection against many Gram negative endotoxin associated diseases.
  • With ENDOVAC-Beef®, protection is achieved more rapidly via our patented ImmunePlus® immuno-stimulant.
  • Significant savings can be realized when costs associated with Mastitis and feedlot problems are reduced.

Questions & Answers

  • What is ENDOVAC-Beef®?

ENDOVAC-Bovi® is an Re-17 mutant Salmonella typhimurium bacterin-toxoid. This vaccine utilizes an antigen which is devoid of the outer O-side chains resulting in an exposed cell wall. Since the cell walls of gram negative bacteria are virtually analogous, this “core antigen” vaccine provides cross-protection from many gram-negative endotoxemic diseases.

  • What are the benefits?

Endovac-Beef improves feed to gain ratio in finishing steers and improves average daily gains in finishing steers. In fact vaccinated steers have shown increased carcass weights because ENDOVAC-Beef suppressed endotoxemias and improved overall performance.

  • How does ENDOVAC-Beef® reduce incidence and severity of E. coli mastitis?

Independent research has clearly shown the association of endotoxins and the clinical signs of E. coli mastitis. Core-antigen vaccines focus on endotoxins by providing anti-LPS antibodies in response to active immunization. In the largest and most comprehensive efficacy study performed in over 2,600 dairy cattle, ENDOVAC-Beef® significantly reduced both the incidence and severity of E. coli mastitis due to E. coli, “The first USDA licensed product with this approval”.

  • Can ENDOVAC-Beef® be used in lactating dairy cattle?

Endovac-Beef has shown a decrease in somatic cell counts and has no effect on dry matter intake and no effect on milk production after the statement, the vaccine is safe in all trimesters. It is recommended that ENDOVAC-Beef® be used in the dry period to most effectively immunize cattle prior to the time of the highest incidence of E. coli mastitis during early lactation.

  • How is ENDOVAC-Beef® administered?

Inject 2ml into the musculature of healthy cattle. Repeat in 2 or 3 weeks. Administer a 2ml booster dose annually. Not recommended for administration to mastitic cows or to septicemic cattle.

  • How is ENDOVAC-Beef® supplied?

ENDOVAC-Beef® is sold to veterinarians only and is supplied in 20 dose (40ml), 50 dose (100ml) bottles and 100 dose (200mL). ENDOVAC-Beef® is refrigerated and has a 36 month shelf life.
